Dr Geetha Lakshmipathy is a Senior Neurologist at MGM Healthcare with 32 years of experience. She has served as the Head of Department & Professor of Neurology in the Madras Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College and Government General Hospital, Chennai. She has been awarded the Fellowship of the IMA Academy of Medicine (FIAMS) degree in 2015. Her fields of interest include epilepsy, stroke and headache, comprehensive and focused treatment of various neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, CNS infections, degenerative disorders, cervical and lumbar spondylosis paraplegia and spinal cord disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, peripheral neuropathy (Diabetic/CIDP), metabolic and deficiency disorders, neuropsychiatric disorders.
