A Senior Consultant in Breast Oncology in the Department of Surgical Oncology, Dr Veda comes with close to ten years of experience in her chosen field. Her expertise includes various techniques in breast oncology such as sentinel lymph node biopsy, breast conservation surgery, axillary surgery, prophylactic mastectomy, modified radical mastectomy, skin sparing mastectomy, oncoplasty, oncology/breast reconstruction and LD/LICAP and TDAP reconstruction. She is also the author of books, guides and various publications of national and international repute. She is a keen advocate of patient support groups and has organised many national and international conferences.
