Arthroscopy- A surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat injuries and complication inside joint. During this procedure, the surgeons’ inserts arthroscope (a narrow tube with camera) into the joints through small cuts and check and repair the damage. This minimally invasive technique assists in treating damage in knee, shoulder, ankle wrists, legs, arms, hand and other joints. Arthroscopy procedure primarily treats major injuries such as sports injuries, ankle pain, instability, stiffness, accidents, meniscus tears and more.

Post-surgical recovery

Recovery of arthroscopy requires rehabilitation that includes exercise, diet and proper medication counselling from the practitioners. Upon following consultations, patients resume to routine in few days, however the complete healing of joint requires patience and it may take weeks to completely recover.
