CT-guided Minimally Invasive Neuro Surgical Procedure

Another first in the country, MGM Healthcare has successfully performed India’s first CT-guided Minimally Invasive Neuro Surgical Procedure on a 28-year-old, Mrs Sheuli Goldar, from Bangladesh who was suffering from severe left side pain at the nape of her neck and head for the past 9 years. The surgery was successfully performed on 7th September 2021 by a multi-disciplinary team, led by Dr K Sridhar, Director and Group Head, Institute of Neurosciences and Spinal Disorders and Dr Navin Gnanasekaran, Associate Director of Medical Services and Senior Consultant, Radiology. They performed the complex minimally invasive pain-relieving procedure on the patient in the CT suite that was turned into a temporary operating theatre.
