Dr. Sathya Selvarajan brings with her extensive expertise in clinical biochemistry and a robust research background in maternal and neonatal screening, promising exciting advancements in prenatal care and beyond.
Dr. Sathya holds an ICMR Integrated MD-PhD, and her research focuses on maternal screening, fetal neural tube defects, clinical biochemistry, and laboratory quality assurance.
She is a passionate lecturer who has taught numerous undergraduates, postgraduates and PhD scholarships and has overseen the Clinical Biochemistry section. Her commitment to advancing knowledge has been recognized through numerous awards, including prestigious accolades like the Asia Pacific Federation of Clinical Biochemistry (APFCB) Young Scientists Award and the GATE-Young Faculty Research Grant.
Her research, particularly in maternal screening and clinical biochemistry, has earned international acclaim, evident from her presentations and publications in esteemed journals and conferences worldwide like the IFCC World Lab Congress Dubai, AACC at Anaheim and RNA Society at Berkeley.
