Dr. Sanmathi Shobhan Kumar

Biography

Dr.S.Shobhan Kumar did her MBBS at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institue(2006-2012) under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. She trained in Internal Medicine at Sundaram Medical Foundation, Anna Nagar, Chennai and passed her MRCP PACES in November 2019 with a record score of 92%. She joined MGM Healthcare Chennai at its inception in January 2019.

Apart from the routine of diagnosis and the treatment of patients, covering the whole gamut of Internal Medicine, she is interested in training and mentoring early career doctors and post graduate students. She has actively participated in academic sessions and presented papers.

She has been elected by invitation to the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians of London.

She has been admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in February 2025.
