Dr P Anbalagan is a distinguished Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 21 years of experience in General Surgery and 13 years of specialization in Surgical Gastroenterology. He completed his MBBS from Govt, Stanley Medical College, MS (General Surgery) from JIPMER, Pondicherry and MCh Surgical Gastroenterology from the Institute of Surgical Gastroenterology & Liver Transplantation, Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He was the best out going student in SGE. The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University won Dr Rangabashyam Gold Medal for Surgical Gastroenterology. Witha strong foundation in both open and minimally invasive techniques, his clinical interests include Pancreatic Surgery, GI Cancer Surgeries and advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Gastrointestinal Procedures. He previously served as Senior Consultant, SGE at SIMS Hospital, Vadapalani, where he was involved in high-volume surgical care and surgical training. Dr P Anbalagan has published 12 original articles and 8 case reports in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at several national and regional conferences. Recognized for his surgical expertise, academic contributions, and patient-centric approach, he continues to play a key role in advancing Gastrointestinal surgery while mentoring young professionals in the field.
