Biography

Dr Kesavan A R, MBBS, M.S. (Orth.), is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with over 25+ years of expertise in trauma care and advanced joint replacement.

He joins MGM Healthcare, Chennai, bringing with him a legacy of clinical excellence and leadership.

He completed his MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College (1994) and pursued his M.S. in Orthopaedics from Mumbai University, following his residency at LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai. Dr Kesavan has held several key leadership roles, including Director of Trauma, Director of Hip Surgery, and Director of Pelvi-Acetabular Reconstructive Surgery at MIOT Hospitals. He has also served as Senior Consultant at Global Hospitals and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Gleneagles HealthCity.

His areas of expertise include robotic and advanced joint replacements (hip & knee), complex primary and revision surgeries, pelvi-acetabular trauma, and complex trauma management.
