Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty, Senior Consultant and HOD of Institute of ENT Head and Neck at MGM Healthcare was invited to speak on a panel of Doctors on NDTV about the growing epidemic of Mucormycosis or the Black Fungus.
He spoke about what black fungus is, the first signs, and the measures to prevent it. He stressed the necessity of follow-up and diagnostic endoscopy after the resolution of Covid-19 infection.
