MGM Healthcare launched the “Cochlear implant program” with the objective of rendering excellent treatment and care for those with auditory concerns.

The program will be spearheaded by Prof Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty, Senior Consultant and Head, Institute of ENT, Head & Neck Surgery and an excellent panel of ENT surgeons.

This follows Asia’s first bilateral wireless cochlear implant performed at MGM Healthcare by the team on a young patient with Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder causing hearing and subsequent speech impediment.
