Dr. Aishwarya Rajkumar

Biography

Dr. Aishwarya Rajkumar, MBBS, MD (Pulmonary Medicine), DRCPSC (Canada), is an experienced pulmonologist specializing in lung transplantation, interventional pulmonology, and critical care.

She joins our team with advanced international training, having completed fellowships at the Vienna Lung Transplant Program, Austria, and the Toronto Lung Transplant Program, Canada, where she was awarded the Diplomate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (DRCPSC). She completed her MBBS and MD in Pulmonary Medicine from SRM Medical College & Research Centre, Chennai, and received advanced EBUS training through the American College of Chest Physicians.

Prior to joining us, Dr. Aishwarya served as Senior Consultant – Interventional & Transplant Pulmonology at Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre, Chennai. Her expertise includes lung transplant evaluation, pre- and post-transplant care, advanced bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracoscopy, airway interventions, ECMO, mechanical ventilation, and the management of complex respiratory diseases.

She has presented research at national and international conferences, authored scientific publications, and conducted several workshops in bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonology. She is a recipient of the Times of India Power Women Award (2021) for Excellence in Pulmonology and the Women Achiever Award (2023) from SRM University.
