Biography

Dr. Dilip Kumar is a distinguished Senior Consultant Physician based in Chennai, holding MD and DNB in Internal Medicine, MRCP (UK), FACP, and dual SCESs in Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology. His core clinical interests include rheumatology and joint-related disorders, complex infections, and a broad spectrum of hormonal and metabolic diseases, including obesity and diabetes. With 13 academic gold medals and contributions to more than 15 clinical trials, he currently practices in Chennai, where he is known for his patient-centred, evidence-based approach to complex multi-system illnesses. Nationally recognised for his sharp diagnostic acumen and impactful teaching, he is the founder of “Dr. Dilip’s MMS” and a leading faculty member at “Cerebellum Academy,” which are shaping the next generation of physicians and postgraduates across India through structured teaching, case-based learning, and exam-oriented training.
