Dr. Sultan Nawahirsha is a dedicated and accomplished medical professional specialised in Medical Gastroenterology. Dr.Sultan’s impressive journey through the field of medicine has been marked by a commitment to excellence, continuous learning and a passion for advancing patient care.

Dr. Sultan’s professional journey includes internships, roles at Vijaya Hospital, and senior residency at PIMS and CMC Vellore. He actively contributes to medical research, having published several articles in reputable National and International journals on various topics. He presented a paper at the 11th European Congress of Tropical Medicine in 2019. He has also authored a chapter for a textbook on GERD. His area of interest includes GERD, Hepatitis, Liver Transplantation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and NASH related liver diseases to name a few.
