Biography
Armed with nearly 30 years of experience, Dr Suresh Rao KG is the Co-Director of the Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support, serving alongside renowned transplant surgeon Dr KR Balakrishnan. In his many years of medical service, Dr Rao has nurtured an expertise in cardiac critical care, heart and lung transplantations, LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) implantation, ECMO initiation, management of congenital heart disease and post-operative patients and trans-oesophageal echocardiography. Over his career, he has presented several papers and has published his research in many high-ranking medical journals.
