Dr V Chandrasekaran

We’re pleased to welcome Dr. V Chandrasekaran, a senior Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Physician with over 25 years of experience, to MGM Healthcare.

He joins us as Senior Consultant & Clinical Lead, Department of Nephrology, and Director, Institute of Renal Sciences and Kidney Transplant.

Dr Chandrasekaran isa respected expert in kidney care, having been a part of over 1,500 kidney transplants, including complex ABO-incompatible, sensitized kidney transplant, combined liver kidney and kidney pancreas transplants. Asa clinical lead, he has overseen more than 500 transplants and has played a key role in building successful transplant programs across centres.

Apart from transplants, his expertise spans acute and critical care nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and interventional nephrology, and he’s known for his patient-first approach and commitment to clinical excellence.

A passionate teacher and mentor, Dr Chandrasekaran has guided many young
nephrologists and dialysis professionals. He also brings strong leadership credentials, with an MBA in Global Management (Deakin University, Australia) and Executive Management in Health Care from University of Virginia, USA.

At MGM Healthcare, Dr Chandrasekaran will lead our efforts to deliver world-class kidney care driven by innovation, compassion, and results.
