Indian Organ Donation Day | TRANSTAN

MGM Healthcare celebrated Indian Organ Donation Day in association with TRANSTAN on 26th November, 2021. A conference was organised to increase awareness and motivate people to come forward to pledge their organs and save lives. The event started with an introduction to Indian Organ Donation Day, followed by a welcome address by the CEO of MGM Healthcare, Mr Harish Manian. Dr R Kanthimathy, Member Secretary of Transplant Authority of Tamil Nadu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The conference further proceeded with subsequent presentations by Dr Amalorpabanathan (Head Transplant Process and Senior Consultant, Vascular Surgery), Dr KR Balakrishnan (Chairman - Cardiac Sciences, Director - Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support), Dr Suresh Rao KG (Co-Director, Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support), Dr Thiagarajan S (Senior Consultant & Director, Institute of Liver Diseases, Transplant & HPB Surgery), Dr Chandrasekaran V (Director & Clinical Lead, Institute of Renal Sciences & Kidney Transplant), Dr Georgi Abraham (Senior Consultant, Department of Nephrology), Dr Sudharshan (Consultant, Department of Urology) and Dr Ananth Pai (Director - Medical Services) at MGM Healthcare.
