MGM Cardiovascular Disease Update

MGM Healthcare hosted the MGM Cardiovascular Disease Update 2021 conference on 5th December, 2021 at Hotel Taj Connemara, Chennai. The event began with the welcome address by Mr Harish Manian, CEO, MGM Healthcare, followed by the inauguration & lamp lighting by Dr KR Balakrishnan, Chairman - Cardiac Sciences, Director - Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support. The conference saw various presentations from doctors, such as Dr Swamikannu, Director & Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine, who presented on the topic 'Aortic and Mitral Valve Disease - Pathology'. Dr Madan Mohan, Senior Consultant (Interventional Cardiologist), presented on the topic 'Indications for Treatment in Aortic and Mitral Valve Disease', Dr AB Gopalamurugan, Senior Consultant - Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology, Director - TAVR & Endovascular Therapy, Director - Electrophysiology & Device Therapy presented on the topic 'Treatment Options for Aortic and Mitral Valve Disease', Dr Sivaraj P, Senior Consultant - Internal Medicine and Allied Sciences presented on the topic 'Follow-up after Treatment for Aortic and Mitral Valve Disease'. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr Ananth Mohan Pai, Director - Medical Services.
