Pink October: Breast Cancer Awareness

In India, about 14% of cancer in women is Breast Cancer, out of which more than 50% of them suffer from Stage 3 and Stage 4. Why? Despite being a serious concern, there isn't adequate awareness among people about breast cancer and how early detection assures better options of treatment and increased chances of survival. On that note, MGM Healthcare hosted #PinkOctober campaign on 24th October with the objective to convey people the importance of having an active lifestyle routine. With the Pandemic, the routine of everyone has been confined to four walls. Pink October's Cyclothon, Walkathon and Yoga & Zumba session encouraged people to #ActInOctober. With more than 500 participants, the event was a huge success! We thank everyone who participated and took part in #PinkOctober.
