Armed with nearly 30 years of experience, Dr Suresh Rao KG is the Co-Director of the Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support, serving alongside renowned transplant surgeon Dr KR Balakrishnan. In his many years of medical service, Dr Rao has nurtured an expertise in cardiac critical care, heart and lung transplantations, LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) implantation, ECMO initiation, management of congenital heart disease and post-operative patients and trans-oesophageal echocardiography. Over his career, he has presented several papers and has published his research in many high-ranking medical journals.

An experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over a decade of unparalleled expertise in cardiothoracic surgery and extensive expertise in performing minimally invasive heart surgeries, aortic surgeries and lung surgeries.

He has been instrumental in pioneering innovative surgical techniques and has contributed significantly to advancements in cardiovascular healthcare.

A Consultant Intensivist and Interventional Pulmonologist, Dr. Soumitra Sinha Roy is a well-known pulmonologist with nearly 15 years of experience. A graduate of Calcutta University and Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, his special interests and expertise include lung transplant, ECMO support for critical lung conditions, bronchoscopic & EBUS interventions using laser therapy and airway stenting. Other areas of interest are interventional medical thoracoscopy, sleep disorders, smoking cessation, COPD management and critical care medicine.

Dr Murali Krishna T comes to us with over 13 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia. He is experienced in the administration of anaesthesia in adult cardiac surgeries like CABG, valve surgeries and aortic surgeries, as well as in paediatric cardiac surgeries including neonates and infants, vascular surgeries and thoracic surgeries. He also has clinical expertise in instituting ECMO, IABP, bronchoscopy and so on. He is involved in the preoperative work-up, intraoperative management, critical care management and postoperative care of cardiac surgery patients.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr Ramya Shri C has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of Paediatric Cardiology and has experience in the Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She is experienced in paediatric cardiac surgeries like atrial septal defect/ventricular septal defect correction, Tetralogy of Fallot repair. She also has expertise in the intensive care management of paediatric cardiac ICU patients.

Dr Noveen Davisdon is an accomplished senior consultant with over a decade experience in paediatric cardiac surgeries. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including Paediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Surgery, Complex Congenital Heart Surgery, Redo Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Paediatric Tracheal Surgery, Neonatal and Paediatric ECMO, Congenital Heart Transplants and Heart Failure Management, Intensive Care Management, Emergency Trauma Surgery and Management, and Vascular Surgery.

Dr Anto Sahayaraj is a senior consultant with over 25 years of experience in Cardiac Surgery. His areas of expertise include adult and Paediatric Cardiac Surgeries, re-do surgeries, Heart and Lung Transplantation, Neonatal surgeries, Mini posterior Thoracotomy, Mini Anterior Thoracotomy, complex heart valve surgery and aortic valve replacement.

Having trained in Pediatric Cardiology wards, Dr Rajesh Kumar R has exposure in various clinical skills in cardiology and various paediatric cardiac surgeries like atrial septal defect/ventricular septal defect correction, Tetralogy of Fallot repair, arterial switch, Ross procedure, Bentall surgery, valve repair and replacement surgeries.

An alumnus of the University of Mumbai, India, Dr Ajay Aravind comes with 10 years of experience in the field of cardiac anaesthesia and cardiac critical care. He has extensive experience in providing pre-operative work-up and optimisation of heart failure patients, monitoring of peri and post-operative patients undergoing varied types of elective and emergency paediatric and adult cardiac surgeries and using ECMO for heart failure and acute cardiogenic shock.
