Dr Srinath Vijayasekharan

A cardiothoracic surgeon with 21 years of experience, Dr Srinath V is a Senior Consultant in the Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support. Over his two decades of experience, he has attended to approximately 6,000 cases of which around 1,500 CABGs and 600 other cardiac surgeries were performed independently. He is also associated with around 300 heart, lung and combined transplants with a significant experience in VAD implantation with multiple devices and over 100 ECMO initiation and removals. His focus is on adult cardiothoracic surgery and heart and lung transplants.
