Fri, 11 ENT, Head & Neck Surgery

Prof Dr Sanjeev Mohanty, Senior Consultant and HOD, Institute of ENT, Head & Neck Surgery, shares with us the profile of a successful outcome of a particularly challenging skull base surgery.

Mr Shankar, 61 years old from Dubai, was diagnosed with Glomus Jugulare Tumour. After experiencing bleeding in his right ear, he went to a specialist for help, which was when he was informed that there was a tumour developing in his right ear which will require major operation. He was referred to Dr Mohanty by the doctor and this decision was seconded by many acquaintances.

Mr Shankar shares his journey at MGM right from the discussions with Dr Mohanty, where he was briefed of all the possible complications. Although it sounded terrifying, Mr Shankar shares that he was convinced by the sound of the surgery and that Dr Mohanty had instilled confidence in him. Mr Shankar is extremely happy and thankful to his medical team.

We keep aspiring to keep doing more, better.
