Mr Manish – Traffic Accident

Mr Manish met with a traffic accident near Chennai Central Station and sustained severe injuries to his arms and legs. After first aid at a nearby hospital, he was referred to Dr Vijay Kumar Sohanlal, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedics at MGM Healthcare, for further treatment. Manish had to undergo multiple surgeries to fix the damage. The doctor and his team performed vascular surgery to repair the arteries and veins of the arm, followed by fracture fixation of the left leg and finally external fixature of the fractures to his elbow and the wrist.

With so many injuries, Manish was worried about losing movement, but he was relieved when Dr Sohanlal and his team worked to bring back the movement of his fingers. He also shares that all the nurses, ward boys and staff at MGM have been very helpful during this difficult time and he thanks everyone for their help.
