Cancerous cyst removal

*MGM gave me the confidence to be UP and Active again.*

“Ever since I was young, it has been a dream for me to join the Indian Forest Service. And now 50 years later, as a retired Superindentent of the Indian Forest Department I have never felt any better. A few months back I was diagnosed with a pelvic infection in my uterus and underwent a biopsy recently post which based on the results, it was advised for me to undergo the process of uterus removal since I had a cancerous cyst in my uterus. My entire family panicked after the outcome and I being a herculean myself, faltered and debilated. Knowing and consulting with Dr Sujatha, my gynaecologist, very closely like my own daughter, she referred me to Dr. Balaji and Dr. Sivakumar, whom I approached them for the surgery with my MRI report. The doctors assured me that this can be cured and I will be healed in no time. The encouraging words of the doctors instilled back my lost confidence and faith.

The procedure was in the afternoon but I was jittery from the morning making me feel anxious. With immense strength and encouragement from my family and doctors I prepped for the surgery. After the procedure I was flabbergasted when I realised that the surgery was successful and the cyst was removed. Being a non diabetic at the age of 68 has really helped me through this process. I love walking and was sceptical whether I would be able to do extensive walking again, but fortunately I can. From the anaesthetists to the caring nurses and of course my doctors, I was only surrounded by kind, compassionate and positive people.

I never imagined to be normal anytime soon, that was proved wrong by the doctors here at MGM. My health along with my confidence has been boosted and I am all eager to start my routine shortly. The pain that I went through vanished in no time. I am a very strong willed woman both physically and mentally, that explains why in my 41 years of married life I do all my house chores and cater to my family without having a house-help. With two of my children happily settled in Australia, I look forward to nothing but a peaceful and happy life with my husband.

Thank you MGM for giving me the confidence to be UP and active again, I now feel like that WOMAN who has walked the
forest.”
