Biography

A dedicated and highly accomplished Interventional Pulmonologist, Dr. Sridhar R. brings with him over 10 years of clinical experience in Pulmonology with a strong focus on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures. A graduate of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Puducherry, and a fellowship-trained expert from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Dr. Sridhar is known for his skill, innovation, and leadership in treating complex pulmonary conditions. Dr. Sridhar’s core expertise includes bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), cryoablation, airway stenting, and indwelling pleural catheter placement.

His deep interest in lung cancer diagnosis and staging, as well as sleep medicine and pulmonary rehabilitation, positions him as a go-to expert for patients with critical and chronic respiratory conditions. He also holds an impressive academic portfolio as a national speaker, organizer of prestigious pulmonology conferences, and faculty member for DNB and Fellowship programs. Dr. Sridhar is a published author with over 20 articles in indexed journals, and serves as an Associate Editor of JAPT while contributing as a reviewer to the European Respiratory Society.
