Dr Chandra Kumar N

Biography

A Senior Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology, Dr Chandra Kumar N is a renowned neonatologist with over 14 years of experience. This JIPMER and AIIMS alumnus specialises in caring for extreme preterm and sick newborn infants who are the most vulnerable of all patients. He has a special interest in neonatal nutrition and hemodynamics, as well as in developing respiratory support devices for neonates which could deliver care to vulnerable neonates at affordable cost. He is a strong proponent of antibiotic stewardship programmes and hopes to minimise antibiotic use in the NICU.
