Dr E Gopalakrishnan

Biography

Dr.E.Gopalakrishnan is a highly trained Paediatric Intensivist with advanced specialization from PGIMER, Chandigarh, and expertise in ECMO through the ECMO Society of India. With nearly a decade of experience in paediatric intensive care, he is proficient in ECMO, mechanical ventilation, dialysis, and advanced neuro-monitoring. His areas of expertise include paediatric emergencies, trauma and ingestion, seizures, pneumonia and ARDS, septic shock, transplant intensive care, extracorporeal therapies, immunomodulation in sepsis, and bone marrow transplantation. He also serves as faculty for PALS and PICU training courses, mentoring residents and paediatricians. His expertise in immunology, POCUS, infection control, and quality improvement supports a comprehensive and patient-centred approach to paediatric critical care.
